Learn dog body language
While our canine companions can’t speak to us verbally, we can learn a lot about what they are saying through body language.

Hi… I’m Bayne.
I’m a sweet boy with a gentle heart, but the world is still a pretty big and scary place for me. I came from a quiet remote area and haven’t seen much of the busy, noisy life, so I’m looking for a calm, patient home where I can learn that everything is okay.
I might be a little shy when we first meet, and new people and places can feel overwhelming for me. I’ll need someone kind and understanding who can go slow, use treats, and help me build my confidence with lots of positive, gentle experiences.
I’d do best in a quiet home without too much going on, and I’ll need a family who understands that I can get worried. Calm, respectful older kids could be okay for me, as long as they give me space when I need it.
Once I'm feeling comfortable with my people, my silly side comes out! I love to get the zoomies, and have even started to show interest in toys! I love my food and love working on my training - I will do anything for a yummy snack!
I have also previously lived with some calm doggy friends and we got along well - so I’d really like a calm, friendly dog to help show me the ropes.
Once I feel safe, I promise there’s a beautiful, loving boy inside just waiting to shine. I just need someone kind to believe in me!
